Hit the deck

Busy week at work means I've been slogging rather than blogging so here's a quick catch up on the last 10 days or so. The Rayographs and Charly Morris were in session last Saturday. Ton was in town from Barcelona, which was a good excuse to check out the Jerusalem Tavern - been meaning to go there for ages...fantastic pub. Ed and Jenny from the Mules were in session yesterday and then the full Mules plus the Rayographs and Charly again put in superb performances at Richard's new Pub Pop night at the Miller in Snowsfields. Me and T-lo were on the deck (just the one!) for a spot of proper old-school 1960's youth club dj-ing.

Hi Badger! It's Ollie from Debbie Leggo. I do enjoy this blog...

just to let you know that the band are refreshed and rehearsed (for once). Rather than the technical problems/sub standard improvisation you've witnessed before, we'll actually be playing a saucy set of songs this sunday at the brixton windmill (8:30pm) and the day after at the 12 bar (again onstage 8:30pm) in support of steve gullick's 'tenebrous liar'.

would be lovely to see you

both the session and the gig were immense fun, though amy's car got broken into on the way back, and we really liked the pub we went to as well- The Rose, i'm pretty sure they were playing Black Mountain when we went in, it was all bluesy and great. I went to see Agaskodo Teliverek on account of you playing their 7" and they were brilliant- you should get them down to play...

Sadly am away this weekend so will miss the Debbie Leggo gigs.

Cheers for Saturday and glad you liked the Rose, Astrid. Very pleased you enjoyed Agaskodo Televerik - they really are the rearing stallion's nuts, aren't they?Hope we can get them on the show/at a gig again soon.

Bummer about Amy's car - hope none of your gear got nicked.
